Why can't I renew my books in my library Account?

If you are trying to renew an item from St. Mary's Library:

• You are unable to renew your items if it is more than 30 days before the due date. You can only renew your items if the due dates are less than 30 days.
• You are only limited to 3 renewals per item. You can always return the item and then check it out again if you need it for longer.
• If you are still having trouble renewing your item please contact the circulation desk through ask@smcm.libanswers.com, the phone or in-person.

If you are trying to renew an item from a USMAI institution (another library):

• We are unable to renew items from other libraries, you will have to contact that library directly.
